August 2010 saw another successful National camp at Phasel Wood Hertfordshire.

All the National Competitions were held with Farnworth Community Fire Cadets from Greater Manchester Fire & Rescue taking all the British Hose running trophies.

Binley Cadets from West Midlands Fire & Rescue won the European Qualification Competition which was a really close run affair with Greater Manchester coming second winning the relay event with a new British record and Durham and Darlington coming third by the smallest of margins.

West Midlands Fire & Rescue Service Cadets and Greater Manchester Fire & Rescue Community Fire Cadets will now represent the UK in Slovenia 17th 24th July 2011.

Consett Fire Cadets from Durham & Darlington Fire & Rescue Service won the branch of the Camp Award which came with a £500 prize for outdoor activities for the branch.
